I’m currently trying to make a concept for Jon Talbain in Smash Bros, and was wondering if I could have some help with it. While I’d appreciate help with the moveset, the main areas I need help with are the art, primarily for a Kirby outfit and stock icon for him. If you’d be interested in helping, please let me know! 

Recently I’ve decided to try learning two fighting games to the level of going competitive in them: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Vampire Savior: Lord of Vampire. I want to learn Darkstalkers not only just to learn a classic fighting game, but also because I like the design of the characters, and was wondering if anyone had any tips for learning Jon Talbain. Anyone have suggestions or tips?

I feel like that "Changz" guy is up to this again. Trying to insist everyone that Morrigan is always malevolent and evil in every adaptations, games and media she's featured in. Even though that has been proven false and inaccurate...

Since I'm the admin of the Teppen wiki (Though I am kinda new to this), I semi-protected this page for 1 week to prevent edit warring with this guy again since he's using IP addresses. But I've been wondering lately if this continue again, if I should eventually semi-protect this page indefinitely. So just wanna see what you guys think about this.

After reading the first chapter of Vampire Savior: Tamashii no Mayoigo yesterday, I noticed something VERY interesting - in most of the games where Darkstalkers characters end up crossing over, Morrigan is true to how she is in the games, but the only crossover game Lilith is true to her in-game series counterpart is in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

In all her other appearances in crossovers, Lilith is characterized as she is in the manga, with her wanting to stay separate from Morrigan. Some other crossovers & media portray Morrigan like her manga counterpart too, such as TEPPEN and the infamous UDON Darkstalkers comics. Adding onto THAT, the Darkstalkers OVA has Morrigan as more of a chaotic neutral character who - unlike in the games - is interested in Demitri.

Moral of the story? Adapting certain Darkstalkers characters (like Morrigan & Lilith) always ends up with VERY weird results. You could either make them accurate to the games (like the Capcom vs. series did), or you could just cut loose with them and characterize them however you'd like (see the manga).
